The Art of Living in London is an invitation into that other city — the London revealed slowly, through living here. A city of favourite tables and familiar faces, hidden gardens and neighbourhood rituals; of galleries wandered into, theatres returned to and places whose significance rarely appears on a map.

 

Some of its guides will be artists, architects, writers, designers and leading voices from London’s cultural life. Others will simply be people who know their corner of the city intimately. Each will share something of their London — the independent shop worth crossing town for, a painting they return to, a favourite walk, an overlooked building, a perfect Sunday lunch, or the view that still makes them stop.
